Jean

Hey everyone, I'm Jean Felipe, owner of Delatorre. Born in Brazil in 1983, I moved to the US at 17, quickly learned independence, and built a strong work ethic in the restaurant industry. At 30, my passion for spirituality and art led me to tattooing. After facing challenges, I found my path at Body Art and Soul Tattoo in Jersey City and eventually opened Delatorre. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who's been part of this journey, especially our amazing team and clients. Stay tuned as I introduce the wonderful people who make this dream a reality. Many have come and gone from Delatorre, each playing a vital role in its growth. I'm thankful to everyone who's been part of this story and even more grateful for the team I have today.

Amanda

Hey, Amanda here! I'm the quietest (or maybe not, according to Kat) member of the Delatorre Fam. Surrounded by art since childhood, it shaped who I am today, even earning a mention in Vogue. Art has always been my refuge, helping me through tough times. I started tattooing in 2022, and it feels like a natural extension of my passion. Tattooing brings me peace and grounds me, but now I’m part of a vibrant community that gives me a sense of belonging I never had while painting alone. Follow my journey at @amanda.delcosta (paintings) or @costaaink (tattoos). I'm honored to have tattooed so many of you and can't wait to meet future clients!

Esther

Hey! I'm Esther, born in Brazil 22 years ago. I've been connected to my artistic side since childhood, mainly through painting and studying art history. When I moved to the US in 2020, I focused even more on my art, and it paid off when I started my apprenticeship with mentors Apollo Busato and Juliano Torres. My work blends line art, blackwork, and illustrative styles, with a passion for traditional and neotraditional designs. I believe tattoos are unique moments, and I strive to create a comfortable, confident environment for every client—filled with good laughs and great tats!

Felipe

Hi everyone! I'm Felipe, but most know me as Schuler. Born in Kendall, Florida in 1982, I moved to Brazil at 5 and spent 25 years there. While studying Biology, I decided to follow my true passion: tattooing. I started tattooing in Brazil in 2006, inspired by my father, a talented artist. I've been with Delatorre ever since, building lasting friendships, strong client relationships, and gaining invaluable experience. Thanks to everyone who's been part of this amazing Delatorre family!

Bella

Hey guys!! I'm Isabella, but everyone calls me Bella! I'm 24, a Leo, and all about spirituality, crystals, manifestation, and the laws of attraction. Born and raised in São Paulo, I moved here at 14 with my family. Art has always been my passion, but I never thought I could make a career out of it. Tattooing crossed my mind, but I wasn't sure I could do it—until I started practicing on fake skin. That's when I knew I wanted to become the best tattoo artist I could be. Tattooing calms my mind and feels more like a passion than a job. I love that I get to leave a little piece of myself on so many people, helping them feel more confident. I found my place at Delatorre, where the vibes are perfect, and everyone feels like family. I'm so grateful to be part of this amazing team, especially to Jean for believing in me, teaching me, and pushing me to grow. After years of uncertainty and various jobs, I've finally found something I truly love. And of course, a special thank you to all my clients—you’re the best!

Julia

Hey everyone! I'm Juju, born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to Florida at 15.

Art has always been a big part of my life—I was the artsy kid in school, always handcrafting, drawing, painting, and diving into art history in my free time.

Even with my family’s support, I didn’t see art as a career until I started a tattoo apprenticeship in 2021.

It was the best decision, letting me turn my hobbies into a career I love.

Kelly

Hey everyone! I'm Kelly, 22, born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My love for art started early, with a passion for creating, drawing, and learning from my favorite artists. In 2020, I began an apprenticeship that changed my life, spending my days drawing, studying tattoo artists, and learning from an incredible team. My mentor, Nate, was a huge support—guiding me from understanding perspective with a little bee in a jar to letting me tattoo him for the first time. In August 2023, I joined Delatorre, where I now work with an amazing team of artists who inspire and support me daily. I focus on creating unique, detailed, and sometimes spooky designs, tailored to each client's anatomy and preferences. To all my incredible clients, from day one to now, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. Tattooing feels like home, and your trust makes it all the more rewarding. Cheers to many more fun projects ahead!

Lyankra

Hi! I’m Lyandra, born in October 2001 in NJ and raised in Florida. My love for art began in 3rd grade with my best friends, Koralia and Marina, who sparked my passion for drawing and painting. By high school, I lost that spark and pursued a stable career in law, even though it didn’t make me happy. Everything changed when I got my first tattoo at 15—I fell in love with tattooing but didn’t think it could be a career. That all changed when Matt and Jean came into my life. I quit my job, dedicated myself to art, and on November 16th, 2022, I did my first tattoo. Tattooing is now my true calling—it gives me purpose and feels like home. I’m so grateful to Matt and Jean for believing in me, and to my amazing clients for making me feel loved and appreciated. You all mean the world to me!

Romel

Hi! I’m Romel, 24, born in South Carolina but living in sunny South Florida for the past 11 years. Growing up, my love for video games, sci-fi, fantasy, horror films, and comics fueled my passion for drawing imaginative and eerie characters. I started my artistic journey in childhood and began a tattoo apprenticeship in 2020, right as the pandemic hit. I've learned valuable techniques from talented artists and now focus on crafting unique Blackwork and color tattoos inspired by dark, psychedelic themes and various art styles. To all my amazing clients, both new and long-time supporters, thank you for your trust and support. Here’s to many more epic tattoos ahead!

Thiago

Hi! My name is Thiago, and I'm an artist at Delatorre tattoo studio. I've been making art since the age of 7, making it a profession at the age of 19 and became a tattoo artist at 23. My path started by drawing manga, and it evolved into my current style of realism with a touch of surrealism. Being able to do art from such an early age has been incredibly important to my career choice, as it gave me the ability of integrating many styles and subjects into different pieces. In 2024 I am developing a specific style as an offshoot of my current one, wish me luck.

Thallis

Hey! I'm Goku! Today’s episode is... Who is Thallis? I was born in 1987 in AL/BR and moved to SP at age 1, where I lived for 28 years before moving to South FL. Matheus

Hello, I'm Matheus Henrique, born in 1994 in Patos de Minas, Brazil. I moved to Uberlandia at 6, where my artistic journey began. After 10 years in graphic design and freelancing, my passion for art led me to tattooing, though I couldn't start until I turned 18 due to family constraints. Discovering traditional tattoos felt like my true calling. In 2018, I left my full-time job to focus on tattooing, spending two years as an apprentice drawing, painting, and living in the studio. I started tattooing in January 2020, and with help from my brother Jonattan, I joined Delatorre in Florida in June 2021. Since then, I've been fully immersed in tattooing, learning daily from my talented colleagues and life experiences. I'm truly grateful for this journey!
